Workshops
Workshops are run over two days, with a two-week interval in which to
practise using the skills at home, or over four weekly half-days. Each stage of the course is supported with a numbered skill
sheet or worksheet, designed to be simple and easy to use as prompts and reminders at home. The workshop is structured
in clear stages and step-by-step building of skills. Presentation and discussion of a basic principle is followed by
an exploration of a corresponding language skill. There is no role play, but participants are encouraged to try out new
ways of saying things, based on real situations they experience at home with their children. The workshop is designed to be
a non-judgemental, supportive and fun way to gain new understanding and skills
